We had a fantastic morning in the school for Daffodil Day, 23rd March. An incredible €3,188.06 was raised for The Irish Cancer Society.
A huge thank you to all the parents, grandparents and local community, who kindly popped in for a cuppa and slice of cake and donated generously.
A special thank you to Mary Moore and Aisling Wright for donating the wonderful raffle prizes and thank you to the helpers on the day: Dolores, Claire, Linda, Carmel, Roisin and Dee.
Well done to the children of 6th class who organised and ran another hugely successful raffle. Ms Barrett’s 2nd class won the Easter eggs for raising the most amount of money, well done.
The biggest thank you of all goes to Teresa Weston, who every year, without fail pulls this day together so effortlessly and makes it such a special day.
