Have you noticed how amazing our school looks?

We are celebrating this along with a build up to the All Ireland Final this Friday15th September.

This Friday we will be celebrating the ‘the ‘All Ireland build up to the final” and an “official unveiling” of the schools new look. It’s going to be great fun and in keeping with the ‘ Dublin V Mayo theme we hope to see as many children wearing their Dublin jerseys/club jerseys/the colour blue (or green and red if you are very brave!!!) into school on Friday. 

Special prize to be awarded for “best dressed” fan.

So it all kicks off at 1 pm in the Junior Yard where teas/coffees and cake will be served to all the parents who are there to pick up the Junior & Senior Infant kids,  At 1.30 pm the children will be brought to the yard by the teachers as normal, treats and face painters have been organised for kids.  Then at 2.15 pm, in the Senior Yard Mr Chambers will speak a few words.

While the Junior Classes are having fun in the yard, 1st to 6th Class will be down in the School Field from 12.45 pm battling it out in a Dublin V Mayo football game.  The time schedules for this are as follows:

1 pm; Dublin girls vs Mayo girls

1.25 pm; Dublin Boys Vs Mayo boys

When the matches are over all the kids will be brought back to the Senior Yard for the cutting of the cake.
