Ms Anderson’s Junior Infants planting
The children from Ms Anderson’s Junior Infants planted flowers beside the steps. Thanks to Ms Clarke for asking them to get involved. They all had a great time, digging, planting and watering.
Planting wild flowers with Howth Tidy Towns
The students from Ms. O’ Donnell’s Senior Infants, Ms. McHugh’s Second Class and Ms. Nugent’s Fifth Class were invited to help create a “Bee Corridor” with Howth Tidy Towns in the community garden. We planted 20 different types of seeds which we hope will encourage lots of bees and butterflies to our garden over the summer months.
Ms. Nugent’s 5th Class sandcastle building competition.
Ms. Nugent’s class earned a well deserved trip to the beach followed by ice-cream in Anne’s Ice-cream shop. Well done boys and girls!

Scoil Mhuire, Howth Primary School
We are situated in the heart of Howth village, above the busy fishing harbour and marina. Our school is a village school in the best sense of the terms, serving and being supported by the local community. There are playing fields and an all purpose Astro Turf pitch located beside the school for outdoor sports and physical education classes.
Howth’s beautiful natural environment is exploited to the full by the teachers for nature classes, walks, projects, etc.
The school population is growing and is blessed with a wonderful community of students.
