Rainbows is a dedicated free service for children and young people. The Rainbows programme supports children and young people affected by loss because of bereavement, separation or divorce.
We are now enrolling for this academic year 2019/20.
A minimum of 4 children (maximum 8) are needed to start a Bereavement group with 2 teacher facilitators running the group and the same ratios would be needed to set up a Separation/|Divorce support group.
This service at present is only available to children in the school who are in 2nd Class and up to 6th Class as the children would have to be grouped according to age. The programme runs for 8 weeks.
If you would like to discuss any of the above in further detail or feel your child would benefit from this service, please contact me confidentially at firstname.lastname@example.org

Howth Primary School, Scoil Mhuire (Please follow this link for our Data Protection Policy)
We are situated in the heart of Howth village, above the busy fishing harbour and marina. Our school is a village school in the best sense of the terms, serving and being supported by the local community. There are playing fields and an all purpose Astro Turf pitch located beside the school for outdoor sports and physical education classes.
Howth’s beautiful natural environment is exploited to the full by the teachers for nature classes, walks, projects, etc.
The school population is growing and is blessed with a wonderful community of students.
